 Captain Doug has over 25 years of experience in the marine industry. He grew up on Lake Erie, where he enjoyed sailing and fishing with family and friends. After moving to Ft. Lauderdale in 1980, Doug got his first job on a 126 ft. motor yacht. He cut his teeth in the mega yacht industry when he went on to work on many Feadships, including the Avante, Highlander, and Enterprise 4. After receiving his Captain’s license, he was Master on numerous yachts in South Florida and abroad, logging in four transatlantic voyages. He also helped to finish a new 200 ft. CRN in Ancona, Italy. Captain Doug is a self starter who knows and understands every facet of the yachting industry.
