Itineraries and Excursions - "Your" World Afloat
Dream, visualize and adventure into the reality of your vacation created at your own pace and around your own space, afloat in luxury. Luxury yachting is also freedom from crowded hotels and noisy dining, heavy tourism and traffic delays. It is your yacht, with your guests, your menus and your activities, your time to enjoy the world in your own way.
The personalized itinerary is the best part of a yacht charter vacation as it is based upon your own schedule, or if you so desire - no schedule at all.
Your personalized charter itinerary may be based on a daily activity, or area(s) you are cruising. Your charter specialist may create a tentative itinerary with a few options for activities and areas of interest. Along with the Captains suggestions for cruising time and his experiences in specific areas, your itinerary can be coordinated for an around the clock schedule of; adventures and excitement, or around meal times or naptimes, keeping in mind that the itinerary may be changed upon your requests.
You may decide you like the idea of a flexible or open itinerary where the daily schedule and activities are based upon the opportunities which you are presented with and arrive upon, while cruising in different locations. This is more of a relaxed itinerary and your experienced Captain will have some suggestions for the next day from there. It is always a good idea to have some tentative cruising plans discussed with your captain in advance for making port and dockage arrangements for your yacht.
If it is privacy and relaxation you desire, then your crew will assist in finding the best areas and the amenities you need and then respectfully stand by for anything that can make you and your guests comfortable and content.
There are secluded coves and quiet beaches in almost any location. A day excursion, by tender or dinghy, to a more "private spot" can be researched and planned in advance.
If it is nature you desire to adventure with, there are many areas and itineraries that can be based on natural activities, nature parks and programs.
If you wish for excitement and fun activities, then there are many toys, amenities and adventures available on different yachts, as well as, different islands. A variety of shore and water excursions may be planned to keep you and your guests enthralled in ocean activities and the abundances of what yachting has to offer.
Adventuring Ashore
For onshore activities it is important to reserve your dockage space in advance. Dockage space may be limited or booked at popular locations or during high season or special events.
It is important to review with your charter specialist what activities and which areas you desire to visit or disembark. A reservation may also be required for many tours or land activities, such as: guided tours, shows and restaurants. The further out these are planned for, the better chance for preventing any disappointments and for researching alternate ideas or dates.
The most important thing to keep in mind is an open mind and the endless array of opportunities and services your yacht and crew can provide to enhance your vacation.
